CUCM 9.x and ELM in a Lab

Hello,

I am looking to setup a CUCM cluster running version 9.x. As this is for a lab I only need a small amount of user licenses. 

• So, in version 9, I understand that ELM will be installed by default which is what I must use to upload and control licensing?
• I do not need node licensing, just user licenses?

Is there anything else I need to consider? I make quite a few orders for licensing for our prodction cluster but will have spare licensing that I can deploy to my lab. Other than the user licenses, it seems I wont need anything else???

Correct, ELM is installed along every CUCM and CUC install yo do.

Yes, node licenses are no longer applicable in 9.x+, you only need user licenses

Perfect in that case I can install my lab and just upload 25 user licenses to have a fully functioning lab? Great
