CUCM application password change

Dear All,

I would like to change CUCM application password from CLI, but I am not sure which one to choose from the following commands.

CUCM version: 8.5.1.15900-4

utils reset_application_ui_administrator_name
utils reset_application_ui_administrator_password
utils reset_ui_administrator_name
utils reset_ui_administrator_password

Also do I need to update changed password on the dependent application servers like CUC, Mediasense & Informacast etc.,

Any other precautionary to be taken?

No Changes required on Unity

for Informant you will have to change the password at the below place.

i think AXL is on only user you use in integration, refer to the link below.

I have gone through the above document, but it talks only about utils_reset_ui_administrator_password. 

Do you mean to go ahead with the same?

i just did it on my LAB server for testing and it works like a champ.

On this link you will see the procedure very clear.

For the other systems, It depends of the user used for integration (AXL.. so on) so you can follow the comments of JB. So times, Unity have AXL integration so perhaps yo u have to update too.

Whether you need to update any other app or not, will depend on what you used for the integration, if you're using the default admin account, or if you created a separate account for that integration.
