Hi,

i've got CUCM 8.6.1.20000-1 and cisco ip phones 3905, with latest phone firmware 3905.9-2-2-0

I use this instruction Cisco Unified Communications Manager Bulk Administration: Update the User Display Name to change Display names. It works fine with my 7911, 7942 and 8945. But i recieve error message, when try to update 3905. The error is "Device Trust Mode cannot be blank for this phone". Also i noticed, that i could make any Bulk changes on all devices with message "Device is not trusted" (for exaple Cisco Dual Mode for iPhone).

How can i resolve this issue? Why 3905 are not trusted devices, and how to make them trusted?

Thanks.

B.t.w. - Is it unwritten feature or i miss something in documentation?

Hi i have same problem, but i tried add the 3905 phone mnually, so how i can make the phone to be "device trusted" without BAT tricks

Sorry, but where is "Device Trust Mode"???

Can I see it where in bulk Administration???

I use Cisco Unified CM Administration (System version: 7.1.5.33900-10)
