I am currently running CUCM 7.1(5)SU2 and I am looking to upgrade to 8.5(1) but I noticed in the documentation that it states that I should have at least 146 GB drives int he servers. I have a Publisher and Subscriber that both have only 72GB drives and I want to upgrade them to 146GB drives. What is the best way to go about upgrading the hard drives?
Thanks in advance

Hi
Assuming you're server platform is supported, then you will need to rebuild each server in your cluster one by one.
i would go in this order:
1.Backup Pub using DRS
2.Power off Pub
3.Remove and label you 72GB drives incase it all goes pear-shaped and you need to go back to you're 72GB drives
4.install new 146GB drives
5.insert you 7.1(5)SU2 install DVD in the Pub
6.once new install is complete
7.Restore DRS
8.check raid all ok and replication working ok in cluster.
repeat steps 2-6,8 on each Sub,
once all Subs have drives replaced, then go ahead and do the 8.5(1) upgrade.
