CUCM INTEGERATION WITH CCX

We have a single cluster in which CUCM,CUC,UCCX,IM version 8.6 installed,when i upgrade only CCX to 10.0 will it be compatible to CUCM or Should i upgrade all the the servers in cluster,,,,advice me on this.

No CUCM8.6 is not compartible with UCCX 10.

Here is the upgrade guide documentation..It will guide you through all you need to do.

NB: Version 10.X of all UC applications UCCX, CUCM, CUCM, IM and P will only run on virtual servers. It wont run on bare metal hardwares. So ensure you have your virtual platform in place

Its running on Virtual platform in UCS environment,should i need to purchase a migration license or should i upgrade with PCD? Which is the best way to upgrade all the servers in cluster.

PCD is cetainly the best way to go. The link below explain in detail how to use PCD.

Go through this link and things should be clearer.

For licenses, look at the license section of th UCCX upgrade guide and for CUCM, you can send your license request to cisco after your upgrade. This link also talk about licenses..

As i know and implemented before , PCD can only use for CUCM , and IM&P , and not support UCCX and UC.Is PCD support unity connection , and UCCX now ?. I know the video which shared above , but it only shows upgrade for CUCM and IM&P.Kindly advise , i really need to know , because this will be so great.Kindly find the below link

PCD supports all the UC applications. What varies is the features that you have with them. PCD currently supports upgrade for Unity connection and UCCX but doesnt support migration. (migration is moving from hardware to virtual environment).
