Hey There,
I have search for a while but can't find an answer so hoping someone can give me a hand.
We are running CUCM with a analog VG320 in MGCP
We have a dumb analog wall box used to call the security office
This call box is setup using a PLAR and hits the internal extension.
After the security office hangs up, their line rings again immediately
I have tried changing the power-denial timeout and it changes things but doesn't fix the problem.
Setting
voice-port 0/0/X
timeouts power-denial 2500 --> makes the line ring a couple times
timeouts power-denial 100 --> the unit doesn't actually hang up so it fully redials
timeout power-denial 500 --> rings again but shorter (I am guessing the default is 1000 ms??
What seems to be happening is when the line is disconnected in the security office is the PLAR is re-engaging and redialing for the timeout time...
Is there a way to delay the line from initiating the PLAR so it doesn't redial or some other timer we can set so it doesn't redial???
Thanks in advance to all those helping out!!!
