CUCM redundancy configuration

Hello everybody,

 

I'm trying to make a redundancy setup of a CUCM group (Publisher and subscriber), and would like to know what are the steps that I should follow to make the setup work especially that I'm planning to do this in a working environment, so have short to no time to test the setup (shutdown the primary and see if phones will register with the subscriber)

 

any kind of documentation/help is appreciated

one last question please, I found out that the secondary CCX is working fine, except of finesse on the 8445 port, the page shows that the server is not running "This Finesse Server is currently out of service. For more information, contact your administrator."

 

the service to start is Cisco Unified CCX Notification Service, right ? 

this service in the secondary CCX seems to stay in a INITIALIZING status, and goes back to not started again, the primary server is disconnect during all these tests, there's no way to start it permanently ?

 

Should users connect manually after a failure (use the secondary url of the secondary CCX server and log in ) in case finesse service works fine?
