Hi All,

Please i need your urgent suggestion and help. We are in the middle of migrating our cucm from isd to sip using Ribbon SBC. I want to create a sip trunk for the SBC and we have different Calling Search space( CSS), will i need to create different sip trunk list for each CSS?

And also how do i migrate all our internal DNs to use the sip trunk list?

Please your input will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Can you please provide information about how your directory numbers are setup in partitions, are the all in one PT or in different?

For outbound calls you would change the content of your route list to include the route group for the SIP trunk or if you use SLRG setup you’d modify the route group directly so that it would contain the trunk towards the SBC.

I strongly suggest you reach out to a reputable consultant for assistance with this, that is something that should have been planned before even starting with such migration, and based on what you're asking, doesn't seem like you're familiar enough with basic call routing in CUCM.

Hi @ChikeBrown7363

Secondly, I donot see in CSR matrix that Ribbon is supported SBC by CUCM. Though you can try.

Check here  the Ribbon SBC - CUCM SIP trunk configuration will help you to setup.

You need to take care is CSS and Partition. Check the Internal DN's Line CSS consists of which partitions. Basis your logic, assign PSTN partition to Route Pattern for allowing calls to match this route pattern and route towards Ribbon SBC.  In Route Pattern under Gateway map the new SIP trunk created from above step.

To verify if the calls are leaving CUCM then,

use the CUCM DNA tool (https://cucmipaddress/dna > Phones > use internal DN) and check if the calls are routed through new SIP trunk.

wish the information finds helpful.
