CUCM to Unity Connection Strips first two digits?

Hello Friends,

Need your suggestion to fix a problem between CUCM and Unity Connections.

Both are in 10.5

I have a DID like 1845-635-7489 setup as hunt pilot and have 5 Jabber devices associated to it.

Jabber devices have internal DN's.

In the Hunt after 5 rings and no answer or busy I have forwarded to VM.

I have created VM box with extension 1845-635-7489 and when testing I am not seeing a call in Unity (Port monitor)

But for some reason I check the logs in CUCM and found it was diverted as 45-635-7489 taking the first two digits. I reconfigured the VM box extension and it seems to be working.

I don't have a digit manipulation anywhere throughout the path.

CUCM -> Hunt -> VM pilot -> SIP Trunk --Unity Connection.

Appreciate if someone could help me understand this on what is making this work?

Thanks
Sanjay.

If this is SCCP integration, do you have a VM box mask configured?

HTH

java

if this helps, please rate

I might be wrong, but do you think Mask?

Because,  I have given the VM Pilot number in the Hunt Pilot settings.

So it will take the RP configured for VM Pilot and move on with SIP trunk.

And the Integration here is SIP.

Correct me if I am wrong.

What does DNA show? go to IP address of pub/dna

THis shows you how the call is leaving your CUCM including any transforms.

Fire up Remote Port Status Monitor from www.ciscounitytools.com and confirm the call is not getting to Unity Connection.

DNA shows it properly and no transforms observed.

It gets the RP for VM pilot and routes to Unity via SIP trunk.

My question is, does unity and CUCM analyze the dial plan. ie., when the number from CUCM is 1845-635-7489 is passed to Unity it doesn't work but when taking off 18 at the beginning it works.

So does it use some kind of default mask like in VM profile.
