Hi,
Anyone knows if Vmware features like "hyper-threading" and "CPU Affinity" supported for CUCM and UConn 8.5 on UCS C series server?
Thanks

For most applications (including CUCM and CUC), you should use a Cisco-provided OVA template to provision the VM's. Anything special or required (like configuration options you noted below) would be configured for you. As for CPU affinity, it is required for standard Unity but I don't believe it is used for any other applications. As for VMWare features (aside from VM configuration options), you can find just about anything you'd want to know in the UC on UCS Doc Wiki. Here is a link to feature support information....

Thanks for prompt response Hailey! Talking about OVA template, I see only one template for CUCM in the download section unlike CUC which has multiple template based on number of users, do you know why that is not the case with CUCM OVA template?
Cheers

I believe VM specifications vary more for CUC builds. CUCM is configured such that you download an OVA file but then select the number of users for sizing purposes. This too is also in the UC on UCS wiki - just go to the main index (search around, it's a great resource) and all of the information (and links to download) for various application OVA templates is included.
