What is the call manager version u are using ? Say,if u are using call manager version 6 and want to upgrade to version 8, you need to download the patches for major upgrade.Of course , the patches would be huge in size and would take at least 5-6 hours depending on the speed and stability of Internet link.
After u download, u need to combine the patches into a single ISO .
Lastly, prior to upgrading the backup of call manager through DRS and check Software upgarde path and hardware compatibility of MCS or third party server .
