I have a CUCM multisite deployment with centralized call processing. I need to create admin users for my administrators in localizations. Is it possible to create such roles that user in localization could configure only his phones, for example on the basis of device pool or description? Now I have such configuration that user from any localization could configure all phones in the system.
You need a provisioning product, wither Cisco PCP or third-part, to get this level of access control. The challenge with those tools is they are focused primarily on templates and automation/abstraction. That is usually a good thing overall but it’s important to know going in: they aren’t just an overlay of the native CUCM admin UI.
