Hello,
I have been trying to set up an external SIP trunk with CUCM 8.6. I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction
I have the following details but not sure how to proceed in CUCM
[VOIP]
username=000000000
type=friend
secret=000000000
host=192.168.1.10
fromuser=000000000
context=from-trunk
allow=alaw
trustrpid = yes
sendrpid = yes
canreinvite = no

CUCM does not support authentication trunks, you will need to deploy CUBE between the provider and CUCM.

Thank you. I will attempt to set up a asterisk box.

Not sure if I follow, are you saying you will ditch CUCM and implement Asterisk?
Is it for home system or something as you cannot compare the 2 for production environment.

Sorry I am a little confused how would you recomment I implement CUBE. I have about 5 phones which I wish to set up in my home/office it's not a production environment. I assume I could probably get asterisk to connect to the SIP trunk and then pipe it to CUCM locally.
