CUE Blank

Hi everybody,

Im using a brand new 2901 Router, and installed a new ISM-SRE-300-k9 hardware onto it.

I gave all the basic commands for ISM 0/0 along with the route.

interface ISM0/0
ip unnumbered Loopback0
service-module fail-open
service-module ip address 1.1.1.2 255.255.255.0
service-module ip default-gateway 1.1.1.1

ip route 1.1.1.2 255.255.255.255 ism 0/0

But the ISM 0/0 came blank, without any software on it.

So I downloaded a ZIP file, (also separate files), put in FTP (also TFTP)

I used different methods:

1. service-module ism 0/0 install url ftp://cisco:cisco@10.1.1.2/cue/cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg

2. service-module ism 0/0 install url ftp://cisco:cisco@10.1.1.2/cue/cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg script cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg.install.sre

For above methods i got this error:

Proceed with installation? [no]: yes
%Error: Couldn't open ftp://*****:*****@10.1.1.2/cue/cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg.install.sre
Execution of script cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg.install.sre failed, installation aborted

*Nov 21 15:17:55.207: %SM_INSTALL-3-INST_SCRIPT_FAIL: Execution of script cue-vm -k9.SPA.sme.8.6.12.pkg.install.sre failed, installation aborted

The file which its looking is already there in that folder.

Other Method:

Help me in solving this issue..

I have gone through many other cases on supportforum, but none could help me

Is there any fault in the hardware? do we to need to RMA this

Or am  I missing a simplest of thing?

Try this once you are on the console of the CUE. Make sure you change the package for the version you have.

Works like a charm.

# software install clean url ftp://192.168.10.11/cue-vm-k9.uc560.7.1.3.pkg username cisco password cisco123456

I can not login to cue service engine mode. I am in  ServicesEngine boot-loader mode.
