Hello for everybody.

My question may be wrong, but lets look at the next situation. There is cucm 9.1 with sql database on ms sql server. Someone accidentally or intentionally deleted the sql database for this cucm. What next developments are possible?

1) If there is backup of the sql database, is it possible to restore it? Will everything connect and sync in this case?

2) Restoring the database from backup is not possible.

3) There is no backup. Цhat туче actions can be taken in this case?

Thank you all for your answers.

There are no versions of CUCM that has ever had an external database on MS SQL server.

CUCM doesn't use MS SQL server for it's database. It has an internal Informix database.

What are you using the SQL DB for, is it for any 3:rd party system that you connect to CUCM?

And earlier versions? For example, cucm 8.6.2.

I recently encountered with next situation - there is ms sql server that has a database named "cisco unified communication manager". There are also two working cucm 8.6.2 and 9.1. And it is not clear which cucm this database may belong to...

In other words, the database with the name "cisco unified communication manager" is just called that and is not related to cucm 8.6.2 and 9.1 in any way.

But how about uccx 9.1? Is it possible that this product uses ms sql database?

For UCCX you could use an external database for database dips in the script(s). It doesn't mean that it's used by the CCX as such for the system, it's a use case where you for various reason need to use a database for script functions.
