Hi ALL,
I have installed 2 Cisco CME in HQ and branch.
HQ is using extension 456, 457, 458, etc
Branch is using extension 50, 51, 52, etc.
When calling out, I would like to add a digit in front of extension or # behind extension to avoid extension conflict.
For example: HQ - 6456, 6457 or 456#, 457#
Brach - 750, 751, or 50#, 51#
How do I configure the destination-pattern?
Thank you.

i dont see a reason to use prefix , as both the branches are in different ranges
but if you still think you need to prefix , you need to use translation profiles to modify the digits
10-07-2014 11:22 PM
you have not configured destination-pattern in the dial-peer
add , destination-pattern 7..

I have tried below but still cannot
voice translation-rule 20
rule 1 /^7/ //
voice translation-profile vm
translate called 20
dial-peer voice 1000 voip
translation-profile outgoing vm
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:192.168.218.11
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
codec g711ulaw
2911_CME#test voice translation-rule 20 758
Matched with rule 1
Original number: 758 Translated number: 58
Original number type: none Translated number type: none
