Greetings,
I have a question concerning destination patterns. I am just wondering if two dialpeers were configured with these as the destination pattern: .......T and
........T
would the second pattern be preferred if a 10 digit number was dialed? If a 7 digit number was dialed, would only the first pattern be considered a match?
Thanks for any information.

The answer to this depends on how the number is dialled. If calls are sent to the gateway en-block ie from cucm for example, then when you dial 7 digits then the first will be matched and when you dial 10 digits then the second pattern will be matched.
.......T
........T
However if you dial the digit using digit by digit ie in case this is a CCME or SRST gateway then the second pattern will never be matched. Once 7 digits are dialed the gateway will match the first pattern all the time.
