Hi,

one of my client is having   PVDM2-8 installed on his 2801 router , now there is a need to upgrade it to PVDM2-64.

Shall i order PVDM2-64 or PVDM2-8U64 ? i just want to know the difference between these two.

regards

Neo

Hello,

Yes you are right but it is not always SHOULD , it is prefered since you can save space for a PVDM if you replace the onboard PVDM with a higher one , but you can also order it with the 8 and add 64 , you got my point ?

Hello,

PVDM2-64: is a DSP card that you can install it on the router or any other router.

PVDM2-8U64 : this should only be ordered when you buy a new router , it replaces the on-board PVDM2-8 to PVDM 64 .

Hope this is clear

Hi Amer,

Please let me know if i got it right , what you meant is " in case a person is ordering a new rotuer where the default Bundle consist of PVDM2-8, and client actual requirement is of PVDM2-64 , in this scenario PVDM2-8U64 should be ordered"
