Is there a way to disable the Ethernet to phone port on the back of the 7965 phones? I know you can use the port to act as a switch but we are looking into disable that port completely. Can it be done?

Yes, the way to do that depends on the call control to which they're registered, you need to provide that info when asking assistance.

Go to the device config and change:
Indicates whether the PC port on the phone is enabled or disabled. The port labeled "10/100 PC" on the back of the phone connects a PC or workstation to the phone so they can share a single network connection. | |

We use Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
