Does anyone know if 4.2 has the functionality to overide a divert on an ext??
On our old pbx entering #5 before the ext number made the destination ext ring even if a divert was set up on it.
Our users are kicking off big time about this losing this feature so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

There is no built in function to override a forward setting. Here's one way to accomplish what you want.
1. If your extensions are currently 3XXX, create an additional DN on each phone of 4XXX.
2. Create a translation pattern of #53XXX and translate the called number to 4XXX.
This will allow calls to internal extensions prefixed with #5 to go to the second DN on the phone bypassing the forward setting.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.
