Do 3905 need transcoding for g729r8

Hi all,

i have the following problem:

3905 is registered on a CME-1 with codec preference g729r8 and then g711 u and a

CME-1 has a sip trunk to another CME-2 using the same codec voice class order

CME-2 has the same settings for calls to CME-1

SPA502 phone on CME-2 calls 3905 on CME-1

While ringing, i can see the codec is g729r8.

As soon as 3905 pickups, the call is dropped.

If i use, g711u, a or g729br8, calls are established OK.

Any ideas why the 3905 does not negitiates g729r8?
