Hello Team,
I was looking on the web and basically the UC520 FAQ and Datasheet agree that the only VWIC supported for Telephony purposes is the VWIC2-XMFT-T1/E1, but there's nothing about the old VWICs.
Unfortunately I don't have the all the equipment to test it out myself :(, so I'm wondering if someone has tried this hardware combination with success.
Thanks in advance.
Manny

Hi!
I would like to help, but I don't have the lab equipment. I'm not with the UC500 team :(, but if you are a partner and have a SBCS or Advanced UC specialization you can open a case online with the PDI Help Desk SBCS team at:
http://www.cisco.com/go/pdihelpdesk
Regards!
Teresa.

Hi!
There a limited number of VWIC / VICs that are supported on the UC520 at this time if you want to install it on the open slot.
2 port T1 cards are not supported AFAIK, only the ones listed under "Modular Support"
There's also a bug CSCsy58476 that mentions that the UC520 will recognize a VIC2-xMFT-T1/E1 module even though it is not supported (I know you didn't ask
about this one, but just FYI). Only the VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 is supported on the UC520 platform.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Teresa.
If it helps, please rate :)

Hello Teresa!
Thanks for the response :), it is clear to me that the Cisco official standpoint is that only the listed hardware parts work on the UC520(meaning that the VWIC-2MFT-T1-DI should not work).
If you could, have the time and if it is no too bold to ask, I would appreciate if you could help me with the little lab recreation here. I believe you have the equipment I don't.
Otherwise I believe we are pretty much done and thanks again for the help and the extra information :).
