Domain name change.

My company is changing its internal active directory domain name, and CUCM 8.5, CUPS 8.5, CCX 8.5 and CUC 8.5 are using DNS to resolve names.

I have to change this applications from using DNS to use IP adress or the new DNS domain name.

What is the procedure from changing this apps??

Hi acampbell, thanks for your answer. I've already seen this document but it doesn't say anything about a domain name change, just how to change the ip address or the hostname, my question is how to change from ccm01.mycompany.com to ccm01.mynewinternaldomain.com.

I have never carried out the tasks you are attempting but I have gleened some additional info

From this link - you need to use CLI

set network domain NEW.COMP.COM

Before entering any of this I would check witrh TAC if your stepped plan of actions is suitable.

acampbell, I changed the domain name entering set network domain newdomain.com then rebooted the publisher and the subscriber server and it works.
