Hi All,
we are having 2 analog lines connected to 2 fxo ports. Port 0/1/0(594) and 0/1/1(671). If i try to call the number 594 the call is working fine but if try to call 671 its not working, im able to hear the ringing sound but the call is not established. Im getting the following DSP error in my router and i found that the rotuer is hitting the Bug ID CSCse34097.
mbrd_e1t1_vic_connect: setup failed
flex_dsprm_voice_connect: voice tdm connect failed: voice-port(0/1/1), dsp_channel(/0/0/2).
Look the following output, when i dial the number 671 show voice call summary is showing rining but show voice port summary is still in on hook can any one explain me wat is the issue. And also let me know due to this error the call is not working
sh voice cal su

Update IOS and try again.

Yeah that bug was fixed about 4 years ago. It is a DSP issue, which is going to mess up analog port states, since those are dependent on the DSP.
Are you running really old IOS? Can you post a 'sh ver?' If you are running a recent IOS, it may be a recurrence or new iteration of a related issue.

Hi , experts:
when i show voice call summany, have the S_SETUP_FAIL in the output as the below, and i must shut and no shutdown controller t1 then it's work fine ,who can help me to troubleshooting and give me some guidance how to do it

What IOS are you running?
You likely need VPM debug during an issue to identify what's occurring, and if it is a PBX issue or an old/new bug in IOS.

hi, sir :
thanks your reply, my router is cisco 3845 and the ios version is (C3845-IPVOICEK9-M), Version 12.4(24)T
only one or two occur daily and i can't know what time this happened, so it's a little difficulty to debug it.
can you give me some further suggestion to troubleshooting this problem

I have a VWIC-1MFT-T1= voice card and have five PVDM2-12 on the voice card ,but when I show show dsp only 24 channel displayed,
whether are three PVDM-12 not active or others reason?

You need to use 'sh voice dsp detail' to see all the DSPs in that command.
You can also use 'sh voice dsp group all' to leverage some DSP information on what the DSPs are provisioned for.
12-19-2010 05:23 PM
Hi, Sir :
Show voice dsp detailed always only show only 24 channel for DSP C549 and show voice dsp group all that the command cann't support for C549 and cann't display the detail for the C549.
In addition I have two voice card VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 on Slot 0 SubSlot 1 and on VWIC-1MFT-T1= Slot 1 SubSlot 0,for more detailed information as the output of show inventory.

Why are you using cna VWIC in an NM slot ?
Can't you place it directly in an HWIC slot ?

For the output of commond on show voice dsp group all that I also have another confused: one calling used the codec g729r8 must be two or three channel, why one dsp channel matched one call as the output?
