DSP Farm

Hi all,

Before I spend days trying to make sense of Cisco's docs I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

We've got a 2811 with a PVDM2-32 and a VIC2-2BRI-TE/NT card to terminate the ISDN2 we have in the UK. I've got it

all working in terms of dial plans but all calls I make / receive have pretty bad call quality. I've now started to set-up a

dspfarm with mixed success, I'm told it's successfully registered when I issue dspfarm all, however calls don't seem to

use the dspfarm as no sessions appear active when I make calls, i.e. show dspfarm dsp active always shows 0.

I'd appreciate it very much if someone could at least give me some advice as to what I need to do. I can't find anything

on the Cisco docs.

unitrouter#show dspfarm all
