I have a E1 CAS configured in a voice enabled router. Users comply because they don't see the caller phone number (ANI). Originally the configuration of the E1 was the following:
controller E1 0/0/1
framing NO-CRC4
ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled
cas-custom 1
country telmex use-defaults
category 2
answer-signal group-b 1
With this configuration I debugged the calls with the command
debug vpm signal
and I noted that the ANI wasn't captured, this is the part of the debug:
r2_reg_event_proc(0/0/1:1(27)) ADDR_INFO_COLLECTED (DNIS=1724, ANI=)
I added to the configuration of the E1 controller the word ANI to the command:
controller E1 0/0/1
framing NO-CRC4
ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled ani
cas-custom 1
country telmex use-defaults
category 2
answer-signal group-b 1
But now the debug shows the ANI number correctly, but doesn't show that the E1 is capturing the complete DNIS, just the digit "1" the rest 3 digits are missing, with this the calls can't be completed:
r2_reg_event_proc(0/0/1:1(11)) ADDR_INFO_COLLECTED (DNIS=1, ANI=2183492768)
Can anybody tell me what is the problem with the configuration?
