Hi all,
I am trying to ivestigate a problem wiht our E1 trunk with 10 channels. For some time we noticed that some numbers we dial out does not come through, instead there is a message on the screen of the phone Unknown Number. Afer analysing "debug voice ccapi inpout" during the unsuccesful calls the message for disconnect cause is equal to 44 (Cause Value=44) and that equals to no circuit being available.
CC_CAUSE_NO_REQ_CIRCUIT = 0x2C /* no requested circuit. (44) */
Cause No. 44 - requested circuit/channel not available [Q.850]
This cause is returned when the circuit or channel indicated by the requesting entity cannot be provided by the other side of the interface.
Would that mean that this is SP related problem?
In "show voice port sum" under status of the all 10 channels of E1 sometimes the OPER comes as up and sometimes dorm with IN STATUS and OUT STATUS being on idle, what is the difference?
PORT CH SIG-TYPE OPER STATUS STATUS TIP RING
=============== == ============ ==== ====== ====== === ====
0/3/0:0 01 r2-digital up answered idle
0/3/0:0 02 r2-digital dorm idle idle

The SP said that the channels are being blocked on our side. Can anybody shed some comments on the trunks status?
The equipment we are using for E1 trunk is UC560-T1E1-K9 with uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA3a
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
