i have an E2O cisco tandberge that i want to register on CUCM 8.0.3 as an advanced third party sip device but as i have seen in several threads, this can be only registered as a native device from cucm 8.5. for me to be able to register it on CUCM 8.0.3, i have to downgrade it from version 4.0.2 to 2.2.
i have tried several steps but i just cannot get it to downgrade or register. i tried downgrading using Winscp, browsing to the phone IP. but it just does not get through. any ideas are hignly appreciated. for info, i activated https,htttp, telnet and ssh on the phone, created a separate sip profile on the CUCM security profile with the digest credential field marked. i get a correct IP in the voice vlan but i cannot register the phone.
