We are deploying Esker Deliveryware Fax Server. We are on CUCM 6.1 and we have all the faxing working internally and externally. Our problem is when we recieve faxes in our email, the from field is populated with a long string of characters as follows: TA:10.100.0.6:1720,TEL:106968106968,NAME:106968106968,106968106968 [IMCEAFAX-TA+3A10.100.0.6+3A1720+2CTEL+3A106968106968+2CNAME+3A106968106968+2C106968106968@rtiintl.com]
10.100.0.6 is our Call Manager Subscriber
106968 is the 6 digit internal ext associated with my fax line.
rtiintl.com is our domain.
Not sure where the rest of this info is coming from but we would like to have something in the "From" field like Esker Fax or something similar and not confusing to users.
If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
You can email any questions to rgonnella@rtiintl.com.
Thanks,
Rich

Why you complain here and not to Esker ?

We did complain to Esker, however they swore up and down that the problem was on the Cisco side. We have since had this issue resolved by Esker. It turned out to be a field in an XML document on the Esker server that was pulling the data.
