Extend and Connect Intermittently Stops Working

We have been using the Extend and Connect feature for quite some time and it has been working very well for our people who work from home on occasion.  Just today, we are noticing that it intermittently does not work.  When attempting to dial from Jabber, it will call my cell phone, and then the call is promptly disconnected or if someone is calling my extension, it will ring my cell phone and then drop the call when I answer.  It seems to do this randomly, and then work fine a few minutes later.  

 

Nothing has changed that I am aware of on the phone system, and I'm not sure if this has always been an issue and we just haven't noticed it just yet.  I am hoping someone can help me with at least troubleshooting what might be happening since I don't really know where to start.

Whats the deployment architecture here. SIP/MGCP/H323. Could you share the debugs please from the gateway ?
