Dear All ,

My customer running CUCM 8.6.2 , configured on it Local route group and device Mobility .

The question now is how to force the user to use the resources of the location he existing in , I mean if user from branch X working today in branch Y , how can I force him to use the Gateway of site Y instead of  Gateway of branch X ?

given that the user device profile CSS of branch X  can reach to his  Gateway of branch X only .

you have to define the route group in the device pool of each site

then apply the device pool to the users

example

Site 1 --> DP-1  --> RG-1

Site 2 --> DP-2 --> RG-2

and assign the users in Site 1 the DP-1

and users in site 2 will have DP-2

and so on

This done , my question regarding a special case when someone moving temp from branch X to branch Y ?

You already mention device mobility, that's exactly what you need to configure for that purpose.
