Hi,
On a CUCM 6.0.1.2121-1, when creating a device profile and adding a DN, the external phone number mask is not used. Only the DN is displayed at the top of the screen when logging.
I have to delete the external phone number mask field, then saving the DN configuration, then completing the field with the same external phone mask, saving again, an then it works!!!
On the other hand, when I add a DN on a phone, there is no problem with the external phone mask.
example of DN and External Phone number mask used : DN 5003 and external phone numer mask 50XXXX.
So for this example, the external should be 505003...
The firmware version used by the phones is 8.3.3 SR2S.

So, have you tried calling and the external phone number does not display as configured??
Or it does show on the called device but it just doesn't show in the IP phone?

I have two Route Groups in my Route List.
If the calling number is not recognized by the GK of the first Route Group, the call is rejected, and the call is routed to the second Route Group.
In my case, the call is always routed to the second Route Group if I don't correct the external phone number mask as described.

I’m confused by the problem!
So you are trying to route calls out based on the calling party number? And unless you modify the call with an external mask then the call does not route as you want it to?
Can you give a more detailed example?
