I know this may be a rare scenario, but technically speaking:
Let's say you have PRI in place in one location and SIP Trunking as well (CPE is Cisco CUBE 3945E).
Note PRIs are not terminated in the Cisco CUBE. They are legacy PRIs setup long time ago.
Then PRI fails and you failover to SIP Trunking.
Is this scenario possible? Which technology can let me accomplish that?

hello,
yes we can do it, you can add sip trunk to the RG(route group) after the PRI.
just make sure sip trunk should not be added directly to the RP(route pattern) else you wont be able to add it to the Route group
let me know if that helps!!

Hi
As Vipaul mentioned above this can be done using route groups
just create two route groups first one has the H323/PRI GW and the second route group has the SIP Trunk
then create route List add both of those route groups make the sure the H323/PRI listed first and make the routing in the route list as Top Down
also be aware There are 2 CUCM service parameters that can effect how CUCM will hunt/failover with H323 route groups.
"Stop Routing on Out of Bandwidth Flag"
Default: True
"Stop Routing on User Busy Flag"
Default: True
Setting these parameters to false will allow failover to a second route group member if the 1st cannot complete the call.
