Called party hears a fast-busy tone when the calling party hangs up.
I have checked and there are no timeout commands configured for disconnect or release.
Dial-peer configuration has the following:
dial-peer voice 1 pots
description Link to Telkom SDH E1 0/0.3/3/1 ### outgoing calls ###
destination-pattern 8T
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
progress_ind disconnect enable 8
incoming called-number .
clid restrict
direct-inward-dial
port 0/0.3/3/1:D
!
Any ideas how to stop this tone so that when the calling party hangs up, instead of fast busy tone, the call disconnects and releases?

Who is the calling party ?
Unrelated, you probably do not need none of the progress_ind commands.

I think it is a problem with the call not being released after disconnect is received...

Sorry, you're not explaining yourself.
Who is the calling party ?
Who hears disconnect tone ?
Why you say the call is not released ?

Calling party, is the person dialling in from the PSTN, called party is the call centre agent, the called partyheres the tone after the calling party hangs up. Turns out it was the command: voice call discipi off, i removed it and it removed the tone and the call disconnects now when either party hang up/goes on hook again.
Will make note of this for future.
