Fax attached to a ATA 186 cuts the call automatically

Hi,

I have an issue with an ATA 186 connected to a FAX Machine.

When the ATA is located inside of Call Manager to be part of an agency, the fax machine works perfect, but if it is moved out to another agency (where the fax machine should be working) the fax answers the fax call and then automatically cuts the call.

I have read it about those ATA 186 does not are compatibles with the fax protocol t-38 in the cisco website.

I already removed the command

fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback cisco

but the error still persist. Can I do another thing to solve that issue?

Attached is the configuration of the equipments. Ag. Boulevard is the agency with issues and Ag. Metrocentro is the agency that does not have any issues.

Hi,

On the site that does not work can you

try adding:-

!

voice service voip

modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw

!

This should force the fax calls to use passthru
