Hi All,
I'm still a beginner in the CCM World, hence turning to the experts.
I wanted to know whats the usual way to implement Fax solution in an IPT environment and how to configure the same (any links would be of great help)
Is it with the help of ATA or FXS card, and in any case is it Pass Through or Fax Relay or it could be used either way
I tried to locate any document however didnt find any, so I will be greatly honored by the help on this.
Kind Regards
Wilson Samuel

Hi,
I have a customer with this setup...
Basically the call get through an H.323 gateway (E1 line) and are routed over his Voice VLAN to a Cisco ATA 186 with a fax machine connected.
You might want to take a look at this guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/gatecont/ps514/products_configuration_example09186a00800d698e.shtml

Hi Samuel
You can use T.37 On-Ramp Fax on your Cisco Voice Gateway to receive the Fax messages and forward them to a mail server. The On-Ramp Fax requires a TCL script on the Voice Gateway that can be downloaded from CCO.
You can find documentation and configuration instructions in the following documents:
