Forward to hunt pilot then back to called number on voicemail on no answer

Hi all

We are configuring a small hunt group for each individual extension to forward and broadcast. 

We’ve been asked whether we can have a the call forward back to the voicemail of the original dialled number after a hunt group treatment rather than a single voicemail for the hunt group. Anyone know whether that’s possible?

Hi,

What you can do is to forward the call to voice mail from hunt pilot on
no-answer.

On unity connection, configure hunt pilot extension as alternate number of
the original forwarder (called number) mailbox. This will make cuc playing
the greeting of original called number and take the message.

So do I configure the HP extension against the user in Unity? Also, is there an option I need to enable so the original forwarding number is sent to Unity instead of the HP?

Yes you need to configure hp number in unity connection as alternate number
for the mailbox.

By default the forwarding number will be hp unless you select use personal
preference under hp
