Hello.

I have a customer who has to move their cisco be7000 to a new location.

He decided to use new ip addresses for all the voice solution.

So I am wondering if I have to change all the ip addresses of all voice solution that is included in the box.

  1. UCS CIMC
  2. VMWARE
  3. CUCM CLUSTER
  4. CUC
  5. ATTENDANT CONSOLE
  6. VOICE GATEWAYS
  7. VG-224
  8. AND MODIFIED ALL THE INTERCLUSTER TRUNKS THAT THE CUSTOMER HAD TO AND FROM ALL OTHER LOCATIONS THAT THE CUSTOMER HAD.

Also I am wondering if the order that I have to follow is the one I have listed above.

And is there a correct procedure to achieve this goal.

Regards

All those need to adjust to whatever IP addressing scheme they will be connecting to, so, if your current IP addresses will not work on the new site, yes, you need to change them accordingly. And then reflect those changes in the DNS and any configuration that used the old IPs.

Thank You Jaime.

Do you have any experience changing the ip address to the attendant console advanced and a procedure to do it.

In the documentation I only see the procedure to change the hostname.

Yes you have to change all the IPs of all the servers and also update the configuration wherever old IP is referenced.
