I've got an odd scenario here. A customer needs calls on a particular DN to RNA to it's own Unity box during the day, but have the ability to forward the DN to a different Unity box for special circumstances. Unity is looking at the original called number and I can't seem to find a way around it. Has anyone else done it?

You will need to manually do this. Put the primary DN on callfoward to a CTI (or another DN) that rolls to Unity. Use voicemail profile to mask the number to a new mailbox.

Unfortunately this doesn't work. The caller still recieves the original DN's VM.

Use the voicemail profile and apply it.
So example: DN x4000 rings. On the device, the user puts CFdAll to x4001 which is a CTI x4001. On extension 4001, you apply the voicemail profile you created. So instead of 4001 voicemail box, mask it to whatever you want.

That's exactly what I configured, but no joy. Unity still plays the VM box for 4000 in your example.
