Hi,
I am trying to configure a line connected to my FXO port to only do outbound calls. The line works just fine and I am able to make calls outbound, but when the line recieves a call the FXO port picks up and creates a busy signal situation for whoever tries to call in. The FXO port has an option for direction and I have set mine to outbound only, but do I need to enter any other syntax on the voice port so that it does not react to incoming calls?

MGCP.

Hope some will tell you about MGCP.
With h323 / sip I would configure connection plar opx to a number that doesn't exist, so the line would never answer. The moment I want to give an answer, I could route the call to an error message. But the best thing to have outbound-only lines is to ask telco, in many countries they can set and bill this way.
