Google Gmail using IMAP to Cisco UC 10.x for basic Integrated Messaging

Hi Folks;

 Can anyone comment as to having set this up and how it actually worked? The Client does have MS AD /LDAP but No MS Exchange. So, if

I use just IMAP-SMTP and the user gets a call into Unity , will they get a basic voice mail notification in their Google Gmail browser?

I'm running into differing answers .

Hi Steve,

 if my understanding is correct, you are trying to access CUC via an IMAP-SMTP configuration in the Google GMail Browser, am I correct?

 You are able to configure a client (like Outlook) to access Google GMail or CUC via IMAP-SMTP, but you are not able to configure in Google GMail Browser an IMAP access to CUC.
