Hi all,

I'm about to integrate HD 2000 sip phones & SecurPhone into our call manager. I'm aware that I need to insert their respective firmwares in CUCM, but when I downloaded them from the official website, I have a file with "rom" extension. usually, we need sbn files and the "loads" file so the phone can register with the CUCM.. has anyone of you guys succeeded in registering this type of phones in CUCM ? I didn't find any documentation for that particular purpose

Thanks in advance

If you mean as 3rd party devices, you would need upload the files directly to the TFTP and then point the devices to them, assuming that's how you manage their FW.

Any file you wish to install (as a cop or devpack) has to pass through Cisco so it's signed with the keys that would allow it to be installed.

Hi Jaime,

"Any file you wish to install (as a cop or devpack) has to pass through Cisco so it's signed with the keys that would allow it to be installed", is there any document to understand this particular part ?

Thank you
