In CUCM 10, any idea why this shows up on the user web page when I look at the ring settings for my phone? "Ring Settings has been deactivated by your administrator"
I'd like to allow users to change their ring settings, but it says that option has been deactivated. Is it a system-wide setting somewhere? I don't see anything on the DN page for this line when I look at the phone. Of course I can manually change the ring settings as the administrator for each user using system administration web page, but I'd rather let people set it for themselves, if possible. Although, it would also be nice to restrict certain users from changing the ring settings too...if that's possible.

Oops. I found it. Sorry. It's in the enterprise parameters. "Show Ring Settings" By default it's set to False

Another thing is to check the group for the user, It should have "Standard CCM End Use" too.
