A user on a 9971 is getting notified every 30 seconds when he puts a customer on hold. The Hold Reversion parameter on the line has been set to 0 for both, which should disable this feature. Yet, he still gets notified. I reset the phone but no change. The Service Parameter, Tone on Hold Timer, is set to 10 but this is only happening for one user. What else could be causing these notifications? And, how do I disable them? CUCM ver is 11.5.1.

what is unique about this user's phone? is that the only 9971 in your deployment?
I would suggest completely remove the phone config, including extension and add back into cucm

The user is an LDAP User, and is a Device in the Application User for UCCX, so I'm not able to delete his account. Are there any other options? Is there any other parameter to change than the Hold Reversion Notification Interval?
There are 27 other 9971s that don't have a problem. I've compared the configs to several of them and they are all the same.
