How can I determine the exact model of an MCS 7800 series server? From the outside their is not reference to specific model (cover plate only stated MCS7800). Inside the box I have determiend it's a DL320. But haven't been able to determine specific model.

If the server is CM 4.X or prior you can look in registry under:
SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems\System Info\Hardware key

A DL320 is equivalent to a MCS-7825. Normally you should have got a sticker on the lid of box which would say the exact model of the box. Also, the newer generations of MCS7825H had a label on the left of the HDD which can be pulled and contains complete information about the exact server model
