Hi all,
I have a requirement to turn off system default messages which are played when * key is placed after leaving VM in Unity connection. There are several messages like press # to send message, press 6 to discard etc.
Is there a way to disable all these system default messages and when caller presses * call should just hang up rather than giving all other options.
I am using Cisco Unity Connection 9.1.
Please help.

Hi
In the user settings, you can go into Edit/Message Settings.
Then:
- uncheck 'callers can edit messages'
- set call action:hang up
this minimises the options played out to 'send - # or discard 6' then hangs up on the caller regardless.
You can configure these settings for all users using bulk admin.

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your feedback. However my need is to completely remove system default messages, becasue my client is across globe supporting multiple languages and they dont want to hear any English messages for VM.
This type of setup is possible in Unity server, but I dont know how to achieve this in Unity connection.
Any further inputs ?
