How to Enable Jabber to Control the Desk Phone

1.)Launch the Jabber client from your desktop by clicking on the icon. It should look like the following:

2.)Login to Jabber using your Active Directory / Network login credentials that you typically use to login to your computer.

 3.)Towards the bottom left of the Jabber client, locate an icon that looks like the following:

4.)Click on the icon to bring up a menu and select “Use My Desk Phone for Calls”.

5.)Your icon should now change to one that looks as follows:

6.)Your Jabber client is now successfully setup to control your desktop phone.

Maybe you could post this as a document or blog post instead of a forum post as your not really asking any question as such and that is the purpose of this part of the community.

Apart from that it could be useful if you add information to your post about the needed configuration in CM for the end user object to make this work. From the outline of your wording it looks like you had the intention to add some graphics in your post, but didn’t add any. Otherwise great work on this.
