How to find Cisco 7935 & 7936 IP phone serial Numbers

Hi All,

I was trying to retrieve the serial numbers of 7935 and 7936 Conference IP phones. But i didn't find it on the back side of the devices as well as on the web page of the particular model IP Phone. So , can i know from where it can be retrieved. I Have gone though some forums where it is telling that the MAC Addresss is itself the serial number. So is there any document from cisco that highlights this query?

If you use this excellent tool from Cisco you will see that the MAC is in fact the

same as the serial number
