How to find the CUCM Serial Number: Version 6.1

Hey all,

I'm trying to call TAC about an issue, but I can't find the serial number of the CUCM. Usually on version 7.x, I go to OS Administration page >> Show >> Hardware and there it is. But it doesn't do this in version 6.x. I also tried show hardware on the CLI, but no good.

Does anyone know of a 'secret' way of finding it? (Other than looking at the physical box, of course! )

Show Hardware command does not show Serial number of server
Symptom: 'show hardware' from cli and gui does not display serial number of the server Conditions: CUCM 6.x and above. Issue does not exist with CUCM 5.x (GUI) Workaround: Use SNMP to find the serial number from the CLI: -An SNMP community string (at least readonly) must be configured, if this hasn't already been done.
