How to Fix Cisco 7906 keeps blinking red after resetting

hi guys,

 

I would like to ask on how to resolve this problem in my cisco 7906. It keeps blinking red after resetting (123456789*#) and also tried (3491672850*#).

Hello,

What is CUCM version?

How many 7906 do you have in your environment?
what is default firmware on your CUCM?

Please be sure that you have required firmware version installed on all nodes and TFTP service is active and running.

You may need to check on the CUCM (if the phone is registered on CUCM) at the Device-Phone Configuration for this specific device which is the Active Load ID and the Inactive Load ID, and verify that the Active Load ID (sip8845_65.12-0-1-11 in my case) actually exists on all CUCMs as default firmware:

Ideally, I would suggest to RMA this phone but I am afraid the it is quite old for replacement.
